Free to self-host. Pay only for more.
Open Connector is open-core: the whole broker — engine, API, MCP gateway, vault, audit trail — is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, self-hosted on your own infrastructure. You only pay for enterprise add-ons (SSO, SCIM, audit retention) on your instance, or for managed Cloud hosting.

Pricing, answered
- Is Open Connector free?
- Yes — the entire core is free and open source under AGPL-3.0. Self-host the connector engine, OAuth broker, MCP gateway, token vault, and audit trail on your own infrastructure at no cost. You only pay if you want the enterprise add-ons (SSO, SCIM, long-term audit retention) or managed Cloud hosting.
- What does the Enterprise license include?
- An offline license key that unlocks the enterprise (EE) features on your own self-hosted instance: SSO (SAML and OIDC), SCIM directory sync, and long-term audit retention & export. The core broker stays AGPL-3.0; the license only adds the EE layer.
- How does Cloud pricing work?
- Cloud is managed hosting with a free tier and usage-based paid plans — you pay for tool-call usage beyond the included quota, with no infrastructure to run. Self-hosting the core stays free under AGPL.
- Do I have to pay to self-host?
- No. Self-hosting the open-source core is free forever. A commercial license is only required to run the EE add-ons (the packages/ee-* workspaces) in production.
