This policy explains what information the Open Connector website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing site and the waitlist only — when you self-host the software, your data stays in your own infrastructure.

1. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address — to confirm your interest and notify you about availability.
  • Source & referrer — which page or link brought you to the waitlist, so we understand where interest comes from.
  • Timestamp — when you signed up and confirmed.

We do not collect names, payment details, or sensitive personal data through this Site, and we do not use invasive third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

  • To send a double opt-in confirmation email and verify your address;
  • To notify you once when Open Connector is ready, plus occasional major updates;
  • To understand aggregate interest and improve the project.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing.

3. Service providers

We use Resend to deliver confirmation and notification emails. Your email address is processed by Resend solely to send these messages. Waitlist records are stored in our own database.

4. Self-hosted software

The Open Connector software is self-hosted. When you run it, all credentials, tokens, and audit data live in your infrastructure under your encryption keys. We never receive or have access to that data.

5. Data retention

We keep waitlist entries until Open Connector launches and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to remove your address — whichever comes first.

6. Your choices

  • Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link;
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us (below);
  • If you never confirm, your pending entry is not used to contact you.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we collect minimal by design.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
